Department of Early Childhood Programs

Dear Families,

The Office of Early Childhood Programs is committed to providing high quality comprehensive services and programs to prepare young children for life-long learning. Our curriculum, leadership, qualified staff and instructional support enable us to provide a variety of programs to meet the developmental needs of varied learners.

Please take the time to inquire about our varied programs and how we can maximize your child’s readiness for kindergarten.

The Family Portal

We are pleased to announce that the Department of Education, Office of Early Learning, in collaboration with Early Learning Coalitions, has launched the new Family Portal. The new system allows families to save time and money, improves accountability and is more efficient because families can apply for the VPK and School Readiness programs online. Families will need an email address in order to register for a Family Portal account and also to submit an application. The Family Portal allows parents to upload documents in a variety of file formats, including using an image from their smart phones. Assistance is available by calling the Early Learning Coalition at 305 646-7220.

Families may access the Family Portal in the following ways:

From the Early Learning Coalition's Website
